This Board and Train program is designed for dogs that are at least 8 months old, already know basic commands, and do not have serious behavioral issues. The focus of the program is on advancing key skills by incorporating distance, duration, and distraction (DDD) with commands such as sit, down, and place. It also emphasizes refining the heel command to create a more focused and consistent walk, beyond just loose-leash walking.

In this extended program, your dog will also make progress in threshold training and recall, helping them respond reliably in various environments. Additionally, your dog will participate in at least two pet-friendly training outings per week, providing real-world experience to reinforce learned behaviors.

Please note that this program is not a standalone solution. Ongoing training and maintenance are essential to ensure the skills your dog acquires are sustained and further developed. Upon pick-up, you will receive an in-depth go-home lesson to ensure a smooth transition. The program also includes three complimentary 1-hour follow-up private lessons to support long-term success.
